Bee-eater 1

While I was travelling in New Zealand I had to source canvasses from various places and try them out before ordering the big sizes. This little bee-eater “landed” on one of these canvasses after a few hours of story-telling and showing the locals my photos of the African bush. Everyone voted the bee-eater as their favourite small bird and I could not resist the need to paint one quickly.
